Privacy Policy
Last updated October 2026This notice explains how the Alternative Health Grand Forks website handles information you send us. Your medical records at our clinic are covered separately by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which we'll give you at your first visit.
What We Collect on This Website
- Booking requests: your name, phone, email, the visit you want, your state, whether you're a new or returning patient, how and when to reach you, any scheduling note and, only if you tick the box, permission to text you.
- Questions: your contact details and question.
- Chat: anything you type into the chat window, and the contact details you give there.
- Where it goes: the forms, booking calendars and chat run on the clinic's scheduling system (CRM) and send what you enter straight to it. They set cookies and note the page you came from, so we can see where requests start.
- Our booking, question and email forms don't ask for medical history, diagnoses, medications or documents. Please don't send them through those forms.
- Patient forms: the intake, consent and policy forms on our Patient forms page are run by our electronic health record system. What you enter there goes straight to that system and becomes part of your medical record.
- Advertising: we don't use advertising trackers on this website.
Email Updates
If you're on our email list, we keep your email address to send occasional news about new patient guides or changes at the clinic. We never share or sell it, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.
How We Use It
Only to contact you about scheduling and to answer your question. We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who Can See It
Only authorized clinic staff, through password-protected accounts.
How Long We Keep It
Requests stay in our scheduling system so we can contact you and follow up, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time. If you become a patient, your information moves into your medical record, which is kept as health-record law requires.
